ERA Option 1 - Generate An Appeal for a Partial ERA

Note - to view the 1500 you've already submitted, follow steps 1-3

  1. From the Patient's page, open Claims > Charges.

  2. On the claim you'd like to view, select the Printer icon

  3. Select Appeal > Start > Generate Appeal

  4. On the Appeal itself, select "Continue"

    1. You may be asked to fill out other portions of the Appeal - if you are not actually filing an appeal, and just seeking the ERA, enter any single character into the required fields to proceed

  5. The partial ERA (showing only that patient's info) will be below the Appeal and 1500 forms.

  6. To Print: At the bottom of the pop-up, select "Manual Appeal" to download the Appeal Packet, which should include the Partial ERA

ERA Option 2 - Claim's Financial Transactions

  1. from the Patient's page (not a Superbill), open Claims > Charges

  2. on the claim you'd like to view, navigate to the Claim's History

  3. Under Financial Transactions, in the Type column, any information that came from a payment (Allowed, Adjustment, Coinsurance, etc) is clickable - this will take you to the payment

  4. If the payment was Auto Posted, there will be a purple ERA button in the upper right that will take you to the ERA

  5. If the payment was Manually Posted, copy the Check # and paste it into the ERAs search bar (make sure to change the Reviewed filter to ALL)
