Lightning Insights are a collection of powerful reporting tools to get a handle on the performance and status of your practice!

To make your way to Lightning Insights, navigate in the Toolbar to Reports > ⚡️ Lightning Insights

Here is what you can expect to see when you launch Insights. The various functions will be elaborated upon in the following steps!

FROM and THRU will determine the dates the Insights will pull.

You have the option to determine whether these dates represent the Posting Date, or the Service Date.

PROV and LOCN allow you to specify which Provider and Location to look at. Currently, you can select ALL Providers/ Locations, or one individual Provider/ Location.

Selecting any of the Functions will collapse the Filters view and Functions buttons, now displaying the data represented in the selected Insight.

To expand this selection again, select SHOW FILTERS.

Snapshot provides an at-a-glance overview of your Practice's performance, as well as an overview of your Insurance and Patient AR.

By default, the Snapshot will also compare the performance to Last Month's performance - this can be altered using the "Compare To" dropdown in the upper right of the Snapshot!

Visualizations represent various KPIs. Selecting one of the presented KPIs will render the Visualization, as well as a spreadsheet breakdown of the KPI.

Visualizations can be presented as Line or Bar graphs, and can be generated by Days or Months, using the drop-downs in the upper left of the Visualization.

Printed Reports offers some of the Reports available through Elation Billing. These reports will be generated based upon the Filters selected. You can select any/ all of the Reports, which will be combined into one download.
