If you have a duplicated patient file through which claims were submitted - we suggest you edit the patient and adjust the First Name to include "INACTIVE" or "DUPLICATE" in front of the actual first name.

On a patient file that has no associated claims, you can Edit the patient and replace them with a New Patient.
