Intro
When a Medicare Policy is the patient's Secondary policy, you'll need to add the Medicare Type Code to the policy information.

*Please note that while baseline insurance information is entered via the EHR, at this time this information needs to be entered via Elation Billing.*
Please refer to the following instructions on how to add the Medicare Type code 😁
1) on the Medicare Policy, click the yellow Pencil (edit) button
2) select See More
3) select the appropriate Medicare Secondary Code from the drop-down menu
4) Save
