PLEASE BE ADVISED that Elation EHR + Billing Practices will use the EHR Calendar instead of the Elation Billing Calendar.
Step 1
Navigate
Click on the Appointment Calendar option under the Patients drop-down menu.

Click on Calendar Settings
Step 3
Review and Adjust Settings
Use the bar on the left to adjust and save different calendar settings.
*Make sure you save on each settings screen!
***SOME SETTINGS WILL BE USED IN THE CALENDAR EMBED WIDGET.

Time Zone - For Reminders Etc
Calendar View Duration - How your calendar screen looks
Calendar View Start - How your calendar screen looks

Type Settings
For now, NEW PATIENT and EXISTING PATIENT are built-in types, but you can add additional appointment types.
Color - This is the color that will display in the waiting room and on the calendar view if you choose the color legend to be by appointment type.
Hours - This currently does NOT restrict hours inside the billing software. These hours will be used to restrict appointment booking in the calendar embed widget on your website (if you want to promote bookings online)
Duration - This currently does NOT restrict duration inside the billing software. This default appointment duration will be used to restrict appointment booking in the calendar embed widget on your website (if you want to promote bookings online)
Provider Settings
New providers are added inside your regular practice settings area. Let us know if you think we should add options for more scheduling providers.
Color - This is the color that will display in the waiting room and on the calendar view if you choose the color legend to be by the provider (default view).
Locations - This currently does NOT restrict provider locations inside the billing software. These locations will be used to restrict appointment booking for the provider in the calendar embed widget on your website (if you want to promote bookings online)
Takes Appointments- This currently does NOT restrict provider appointments inside the billing software. This will be used to restrict appointment booking for the provider in the calendar embed widget on your website (if you want to promote bookings online)
